Protect your smart lighting system with this practical cover! Designed for homes using smart light bulbs, this cover creates a physical barrier to prevent the smart lighting from being switched off.
What's Included:
- Rear Frame: Easily fitted by loosening the screws on your existing switch plate and sliding the frame behind the plate.
- Front Cover: Slides over the rear frame, providing quick access to your switch in case of a smart home malfunction.
Compatibility:
This cover is designed for most standard UK (single plate) light switches. It fits around a standard, single, double or triple (86mm square) UK switch plate.
The maximum depth (from the tip of the switch to the wall) is 16mm.
Please carefully check the dimensions of your switch before ordering to ensure a perfect fit.

These are excellent - really easy to fit, just slacken off the existing switch plate, slip in the back plate and tighten up the plate again to squeeze it in place. Then slide the cover over the top, and voila! The only possible improvement I could suggest would be to do a magnetic version - I’ve stuck Sonoff smart button mounts onto the covers and they work great, but occasionally fall off - would be awesome if the cover itself was magnetic, so the Sonoff buttons clipped to them without having to stick on the mount. But that’s really a nitpick! Great product, purchased for all my switches in rooms with smart bulbs.
While the customer service is really fast and efficient and seller helped expedite my order, the actual product proved less useful. I ordered 5 but it only fitted 2 of my switches. The product really needs to be about 5mm deeper so that it fits all switches. As it was pressing on the switch, it kept switching the devices off. Shame as it is a great idea and worked perfectly for the 2 slim switches I have.
Does as needed and easy to install with some superglue
A slight wait on delivery but well worth it as I've spent hours looking for a product like this. I just wish they did a 2 gang variant so I could hide some unsightly plug sockets
